PHS Pheast 2014

Pheast, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s annual event to benefit the City Harvest program, matches local growers with regional chefs for a unique garden-to-table dining experience. The initial artwork for the 2014 iteration of Pheast was inspired by gardening and greening posters created during the 1930s Works Progress Administration. This concept inspired the first invitation - a tri-fold piece that echoed the illustrative WPA graphic style.

As the design of the event shifted, the invitations, poster, advertisements and on-site signage evolved to reflect the more modern direction that project drivers preferred. These printed and digital pieces helped Pheast become a sold-out event.
